That is the idea behind the redesigned Digital Innovation Academy from Swiss Digital Network.
We have reorganized the Academy around the work engineering teams own every day: delivering software, data, and AI systems, checking that they behave as intended, and keeping them dependable in production.
The new structure makes the course portfolio easier to navigate. Each course has a clearer audience, practical learning outcomes, prerequisites, and delivery options. It also makes the connections between disciplines easier to see: where one capability ends, where another begins, and which capability your team needs next.

These areas are not separate learning paths. They reflect capabilities that increasingly need to work together across the engineering lifecycle.
The redesigned Academy makes those connections visible and helps teams identify the knowledge and practices they need for the systems they build and operate.
Practical by design
The Academy is built for people who work with real delivery constraints.
Participants bring pipelines, services, test suites, data flows and operating responsibilities. The courses use hands-on labs to turn those responsibilities into decisions and working artefacts.
The teaching draws on the same engineering disciplines that Swiss Digital Network specialists use in consulting, architecture and delivery work.
The aim is not to promote one tool stack. It is to help teams understand the methods, controls and trade-offs well enough to apply them in their own environment.
A new course for a new operating reality
The newest addition to the Academy is Agentic Continuous Verification and Testing.
It focuses on a problem many engineering teams are about to meet: AI agents can generate tests, inspect evidence and change code, but they can also make a failing test pass by weakening its assertion.
The pipeline turns green. The bug remains.
As agents take on more actions within engineering workflows, teams need to understand what an agent changed, why it changed it and what evidence supports the resulting decision.
The three-day course teaches participants to trace agent decisions, audit generated and repaired tests, build evidence-based quality gates, verify deployed services against runtime signals and escalate uncertain decisions to a person.
It is a practical extension of the Academy’s existing work in SRE, observability and Continuous Verification.
